Friends,

Every manufacturers will produce the car in three or four variants, like lxi, vxi, zxi in Maruti and active, dynamic, emotion in fiat etc etc. Also in six or seven colours.

My doubt is, What is their preference in manufacturing the car. i mean,  are they producing one variant in every colour OR One colour in every varient?

for example, in the case of Ritz

are they producing LXi in every colour first or

White for LXI VXI ZXI then Red for LXI VXI ZXI... like that???? or any other method???

any one have any idea?

First all the versions are produced - colours follow.

The widely followed process in car assembly line is as below

While putting the car body together, the car frame itself is molded out and cut into corresponding sizes and shapes. The frame parts are then screwed and welded together to make the entire car frame and put onto the assembly line. The frame then moves for various parts of the engine and electrical parts to be assembled inside the frame. Once that has been completed, internal parts such as seats, the steering wheel and other internal components are put into place. The body of the car is the final stage of the assembly. The body parts are pre-painted so that when the car is finished being assembled, it is ready to be driven off the assembly line and sent directly out for sale once it has been inspected.
