@ Binoy Thomas

My God! I am appalled by what I've read about Skoda, its dealerships and their servicing. I bless my stars and thank God for he didn't bestow me with enough cash to buy a Skoda car...

Buddy I was in the market for a new car last month. I have already bought a car now. I bought a Ritz ZXI as my budget was only for 5 - 5.5 lacs. Skoda was offering huge discounts even back then but as I always try and go in for the top-of-the-line model, the Skoda Fabia TDI Elegance (at Rs. 6,75,000) was proving to be too expensive.

@T4Tigers ,

This so called huge discount offered by Skoda is nothing but just marketing gimmick . In this scheme one has to avail finance & insurance from skoda dealers only . Final price would come much higher than their price list !! . So don't go by ad !!.

If you want to check this , just visit skoda dealer & ask them about discount . Listen them & finally say them that you are going to pay single cheque & don't want to go for any bank finance . See what they will tell you then !!.

Its a sham isn't it? Its always a sham. For example when I was buying my car, I came to know of this finance offer from SBI which was promising an interest rate of 8%! On talking to SBI I came to know that 8% was only for the first year and it would change from the second year on.
