Milage - Linea.

The undisputed mileage-raja would be the Fiesta TDci.  Is probably the most refined and the most fun to handle too.

Keep those wheels turning!

@ Sujit
how is the 106bhp Hyundai Verna more powerful than the 150bhp Chevrolet Cruze? And does the Verna boast of the following features: dual airbags, tilt and telescopic steering, parking sensors, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, keyless entry and push button start, in-dash 6-CD changer, 16" alloy wheels, etc, etc...?

@ Steeroid
you may be right there but time will tell. The Ford Fiesta will be hard to beat - it may not be the most powerful but it sure is one of the most frugal in the market!

Dzire is good only in its category, it can't hold a candle to the Cruze...

I agree, but this thread is about the best diesel sedan in the Indian automobile market - so I would like to give my vote to the BMW 320d. The best diesel sedan in the Indian automobile market. period.

I Just saw Cruze for the first time on Mumbai DOmestic Airport. I loved the look but felt car was a bit smallInnocent. Hence Top Model on road is much higher then 11 L & quite close to Laura & I would stretch my self to buy Laura, Because Its Big, More fuel efficient , certainly but with bad reputaion on service & after sales

Isn't the top-end, Cruze LTZ retailing for around 12 lacs? The base Laura will be around 13 lacs I think and the top-end goes up to 18 lacs! Yes, I too have heard dreadful stories of Skoda's service...it's sad really, the service is letting down some "superb" cars.
