Thanks to Carwale, Have taken delivery of i20 Magna

We had booked our car on 2nd and got the delivery on 28th of September. Frankly, we wwere shocked, since were told on booking date  that it would take atleat one month for the car to come. I was told by the salesperson that because of the colour we got  the car so fast. he said a guy who had booked his White i20 two weeks before us was yet to get his car!!! SO, i guess the colour does matter .

Mud Flaps & mats , all dealers offer( for i20)..anything other than that is a bonus. Even our request for the car cover was turned down. So, we had to buy it. Teflon coating & underbody coating, we got it done , quite ironcally , from a Maruti service station. Reason was more personal than dealership.

I agree , the sound system is good and very easy to use...steering mounted contols are great..though i must admit it did take me quite some time to adjust to the  controls as i repeatedly pressed mute or mode change button while pressing the horn. After one gets used to it, its fun to use.

I'm driving the car for last 1 month only in the city condition and I'm very satisfied with the performance. No complaint or whatsoever.

1st & foremost querry for me prior to my booking was the engine underpower tag for i20. After driving for last 1 month I should say, yes, I've to shift the gear according to the speed of the car & 've to shift quite frequently in neck to neck traffic. Otherwise driving is very smooth, smooth pick up & shifting of gear is also very comfortable. Driving posture is equally good & dead pedal for clutch is a boon for city driving.

The interiors & boot space are major +ves in comparision to swift. I'm very pleased with the interiors, - dual tone colour, inbuit music system, huge glove box with ac venting, nice common display console, very good leg space for both front & rear passengers.

Yes, in one line, I'm very satisfied owner of i20 magna.    

I have also bookd I20 Asta White colour on last Saturday and will be delivered in 30 days. They have given me free mud flap, matting and teflon polish. No other freebies . I am now eagerly waiting for my card to be delivered.

Congrats Raj on your white i20 Asta . Do post your car's pics and experiences. Looking at the delivery period, i guess  its a 1.2 petrol?

@Raj, No freebies for I20 anywhere.  So dont worry.  It is a good car and enjoy.  I understand your feelings because, iam also in "waiting period". Post reviews and pictures.

Congrats. I have also booked I-20 Magna. In test drive in city, there was no issue of underpower, may be on highways. I liked it's design and other features. Truely different from others. Only majour issue is high price tag.
