The SX4 is the best VFM car in its segment if you re ready to compromise the build of a maruti but as far as the build of this car is concerned its better than other marutis because it is sold in many countries. The introduction of VVT in the engine will surely lead to overall improvement in engine dynamics as power, efficiency. Looking for the new one but have already purchased the E3 Zxi version cant help!!!Embarassed Surely congratulate maruti for their frequent upgradation in oreder to match trends. They had already done an impressive job in the first but now they have added to it!!! KUDOS

Definitely, Maruti is alwasy one step ahead compared to other manufacturers. They have always come up with different new models, varients, planning as needed. They are not amongst those, who only like to use their name only and want to get on the top. In such a competetive sector, where there are so many companies with latest state-of-the-art technology, Maruti is still on top and there seems no challange for them from any manufactuer in the near future. But for some ........ it is just knife in the heart. They are wishing their brand to grow up, but you cannot do everything with wishes only.

IMO Mr. Narendra singh is right. But  the thing is we have to consider the practicality of maruti. It caters to the needs and necessities of people from all walks of life. t=This is a commendable achievement.

Everyone conviniently forgets that Maruti's build quality is simply not good enough as a Hyundai or a Honda. period.

Are you saying the build quality of Hyundai accent is better than SX4?

And that New Honda city interiors are also better than SX4?

I dont agree on that.

See there is a fine difference between pure luxury like in Accord and Sonata's.

You definately dont expect it to be the same in a Car of 8 lakhs.

Still agreed that there is always scope of improvement in interiors of SX4 but not to the extent that someone would sideline it completely.

Needless to say the interior of SX4 and that of Ritz is much better than previous gen Maruti vehicles.

SX4 came a long time ago, that demands more improvement in the interiors in that respect comparing to vehicles of today, more plush interiors are required.

Given that its a 1.6 litre vvt engine in 8 lakhs with a 16 inch wheels with wide tyres and 190mm ground clearance is something no one can ignore.Innocent

I never like to make personal comments, but from the last word you wrote, it is obvious you dont want to listen to any other point of view. However, for the sake of discussion, and for others who are reading, I would like to strongly disagree with this statement.

In my view build quality means sturdiness, stability, no rattles or vibrations of any sort, not prone to damages on long run or over a long period of time.

SX4 has been in the market for a much smaller period of time but even then it has showed all the build qualities I have listed above. As a matter of fact, I find it even more sturdier than both the old and new city. There are absolutely no issues reported anywhere in this site which talks about the build quality of SX4. If you have noticed something anywhere please quote the smae and then discuss further.

Otherwise, Period
