I think all Honda cars are not meant for Indian roads all of them are having low GC.

SX4 is a good car.  But in new SX4 they should have brought lots of changes but only cosmetic changes have been done.

Has anyone done their 40,000kms service for the SX4? I paid Rs.9,500 for my 40K service. No major complaints!

Thats a huge bill Amit.It sounds more like a Skoda service bill to me.

Would a Rs 6900 bill for replacement of a Swift ZXi speedometer cluster with 31,000 odd kms on the odometer sound more reasonable? I was lucky that the gearbox & auto a/c malfunction happened just before the two year warranty expired. God only knows how much would have been the bill for repair of the auto climate control system.

There are always a few rotten apples in a bunch as they say.Amit maybe you are the unlucky one to get one of them. The suspension issues are not a surprise.Due to the light weight of most of the maruti cars ,these issues are experienced mostly by non maruti users. The maruti faithfuls are used to it and dont think it is a problem.the sterring drift in my opinion should be fixed in the ASS.I have drove both sx4 and swift at a its top speed and i didnt experience that, though i did feel as if i am flying in the sky and felt weightless..

Dr.Abyshines  seems to be a regular maruti guy and when he bought maruti sx4 he knew what he would be getting and has not complaints/no regrets about his pick.so now i think the reason is cleared why amit and abhyshines have such contrasting opinions about the same car.

The invoice is attached. The ASC did tell me that 40K is a major service specified by Maruti and I was given a estimate of about Rs.6,000 to Rs.6,500. Final amount came to Rs.9,157!
