Do not forget, that ene even a smaller palio used to come with 100 BHP. Fiat cars are unlike any other brand. they are the toughest of the lot and can handle more power. With Tjet in petrol even fuel efficiency will not be a problem.

Only thing is, that Fiat, I just don't trust any of the news articles. Unless we get something officially from Fiat, I will be skeptical about what will be coming through and more importantly "WHEN?"

A friend of mine spotted the Linea T-Jet yesterday on the Thane-Belapur highway at Vashi in Navi Mumbai. The car came up from behind him and he clearly say the T-Jet logo on the grille. He confirmed that the J in T-Jet was red in colour. As per him, the car just flew past him at high speed.

For those that aren't from Mumbai, Thane-Belapur Road is a road that connects the Navi Mumbai Industrial are to the Mumbai-Pune highway. On Sunday's, the road is reliatively empty affording the chance to drive fast.

My Linea was parked without use last week & rats have tried to eat & damaged the Rear RH wheel speed sensor / ABS wire Cry. MID was showing alert "ABS unavailable". So, I went to TASS yday where this problem got diagnosed when they attached ECU scanner/ examiner with the car. In the software application in the scanner when the SA chose car as Fiat Linea, it threw 4 options/ variant to choose from -

1.3 MJD

1.4 FIRE 16 valve

1.4 TURBO 16 valve Laughing

Don't remember the 4th option (No, it was not 1.6 MJD)

The software would be an import and not mean much in the end after all! Thanks for sharing though.

Was the repair done under warranty? Did you get the rats?!

The damaged wire clearly shown that rats tried to cut it, in fact, already cut it. It was only 1 wire which got cut. They just taped another wire from where it was cut, the cost was not much. It was not done under warranty, I don't think rats eating away wire could be covered under warranty & never tried to bargain with TASS as did not seem logical to me.

The cost was 400/- for scanning & 350/- for labour
