Just OT ,

Neuroradiology is a subspecialty of radiology focusing on the diagnosis and characterization of abnormalities of the central and peripheral nervous system, spine, and head and neck. Primary imaging modalities include computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)

Yupp you are right, its definately not Punto's Fault. It is Fiats' for sure.LOLz.Tongue out

Kedar ,Did you visit them[Dealer]?

Any updates on the same.

Wish your problems are solved.

Just crossed my mind, how scared a punto driver should feel of the next Claim, owing to the kind of service you have recieved!

Just scepticle though but still would love to follow this thread to see whether this is taken care of in near future by PUNTO guys=FIAT INDIA.

One more thing, request to all the fiat Punto owners to pen down your personal experiences[good and bad] about the service and claims repair if any to help all those who wish to consider these points for their benefits and who are considering buying a Fiat vehicle despite myths and facts about their service.

MODS :Just a thought if this thread can be renamed accordingly to benefit others also and to lift their myths/facts about FIAT service in india if at all Kedar agrees to it.

More experiences of other Punto/Fiat onwers will help.  The thread has not been renamed but '??' suffixed.

?? are suffixed so that thread name doesn't sound anymore (without remaning it) like a conclusive statement Wink

@ Kedar, any updates?

My Linea too also met with an accident. A reversing truck in a jam packed traffic damanged the bonnet. Insurance approval took four days. The order for the bonnet was placed last Saturday. I was informed that it would reach me by tomorrow, Thursday. Not that bad I would say if it indeed arrives tomorrow.

I had earlier changed link rod, anti roll bar, ORVM cover and a damanged dashboard panel where hazard and boot opening buttons are placed. They were replaced immediately without any waiting. So, this waiting seems to be only for parts that are not commonly damaged in freak accidents.

Anyways, other parts should also become more and more available as days go by and sales pick up numbers. I read in other forums where punto's right side door was fully damaged. They were finally fixed (not sure how long it took though).

So, don't lose heart. Very sorry to hear such an undue delay though.

I agree this is a bad experience that Kedar has experienced. But the least Kedar can expect is a date as to when this whole thing will get resolved. It seems like the dealer does not even have a date when he will commit to a date Frown for resolution.

This Mr. Desai I had mentioned earlier seems sincere. He has been communicating with me as per the time I had set for him. Yesterday afternoon I had visited the workshop and the crucial "cross member" which supports the radiator had arrived and work had started. I crosschecked with him and told him to give a time frame. Well he has promised me Saturday delivery, I am mentally prepared for Monday. In the mean time Mr. Mangesh Kodalkar sent this reply and I quote:

"Dear Sir ,
We are extremely apologetic on the complete incidence that delayed the repair work at BU Bhandari , will ensure readiness of car at the earliest without compromising on quality , once again thank you for your cooperation & support
With warm regards,
Mangesh Kodalkar

One more thought,  Fiat should be charged double for advertising on this website. Wink

A change of title is not an issue with me. I just want guidance, mental support and others to know before they fall victim.

This is besides the core topic, but the car accessories dealer had called me to know the status of my car repairs. He informed that the man (22 something) who had been careless with the car had met with an accident. Apparently he was riding his bike, probably with the same callousness, and had a bad head injury..... some harsh divine justice. I felt sad for him then. Here a neuroradiologist and a neurosurgeon is needed.
