Remote Centre locking for i10 Magna

Hi

I have bought a Hyundai I10 Magna. It comes with Manual central Lock. As dealer told me it has an Immobilizer so Engine can not start with key other than orignal or duplicate key from Hyundai. Does from Security point of view Remote central locking will provide any help. I have already installed a gear lock for the car.

Remote locking is more of a convenience, but the alarm does deter the casual thief!
