Selling car within different state

I purchased car on loan from Jamnagar, Gujarat, now loan was foreclosed n had NOC from bank. Now I am living in Satara, Maharashtra.

My question is can I remove HP line from RC book from Satara RTO and after that can I sell my car in Maharashtra with Gujarat passing. Can anybody answer this with details.

HP cancellation can only be effected by the RTO concerned (Jamanagar).  Thereafter, you can sell the car - in Maharashtra.  It will fetch lesser resale value (it is always so in such cases), as the buyer will have to get the car re-registered & pay life-time tax as applicable to old cars on depreciated value.  You will have to sign/endorse the TTO form in favour of the buyer & get him an NOC for Satara.  All this will have to be initiated/done from Jamanagar RTO.
