Banwari thanks for your remarks...In that case its better to have a New name for this forum first than the ones that we have suggested above... A whole new feel will come to the site and yes tagging the videos with watermarks with a new name will definately act as a campaign... Looks like i am craving to see all the good things fall in place... What say folks...!!!

I suggest Ban to print some good quality stickers of Carwale.com so that we can stick it on the rear side of our cars. It will be a pride and also it serves the purpose of meeting fellow members on street.

We has asked us long back for a name for our forum/community. So now its on us, if we provide a good name then probably we can announce it formally in our meet. So get your minds tickling and suggest some names in the thread link provided above

Another suggestion:

As members of carwale own (together) a large number of types of cars, over time, it's possible for carwale members to post prices of spares (not just regular replacement parts) that they actually PAY at the service center. This will help immensely to new buyers. Members can post price of a particular part as of a particular date for a specific model. The site can maintain tables of that. That way new buyers can have really good idea on which car to buy.

It may take time for the prices data to build up but it will. This will help customers greatly. Not sure if there's any site that does spares cost for Indian cars.

One suggestion here:

The entire forum hosting this thread - "Help us Inprove" - is meant to carry threads to improve Carwale forums.

It will be much better to discuss these suggestions in their own threads because then the next thread won't cut off discussion on the previous suggestion.

Therefore I suggest Rajendra to spawn a new thread in the "help us improve" forum with this spare prices suggestion.

Aby - Hope you get the spirit behind this post - nothing against your initiative or enthu, but the suggestions are better registered, publicised and attended to independently, rather than getting crowded on the same thread.
