So then it would be cheaper right ?

So then my question is How can something be cheaper, more fuel efficient, technologically advanced, less noisy, low on emissions, smaller in size lesser n weight, more in power ?

Everything positive ?

Calculations are just one part of the story...LOL

Engine produced in india will definately be cheaper...!

Lighter weight of the vehicle...!

Technologicaly they arent very advanced though compared to rest of the world...Advanced as far as the other manufacturers in the same class...

Noisy they are...

other queries i dont think i can handle them...

No other manufacturer entered india when Suzuki stepped in...That too with the help of a big politician of that time...

They clicked in india owing to the Growth in per capita income, during those times...they made money and also made customers happy...the tradition goes on and on ever since...

from 1398CC it will come down to 1200CC..

Looks like everyone is besotted by the 1200 cc capacity!

This is the limit where excise duty slab changes, and the mfrs will get tax benefits. Looking at the waiting lines for the swift, it is sure that none of that benefit is getting passed in to the consumers.

Self serving move by Suzuki indeed!

Cent percent true !!!

And they enjoyed Monopoly for soo long !! So if you din't like MAruti 800, keep your views to yourself.

But about the noisy part, the K-series engines claim that they are low on noise.

I test drove the new Estilo...It makes more noice than the Previous avtar...See these KB series engines have a peculiarity, initialy when the negine is cold the sound of engine is more, once the engine starts running,it produces less noice...

A fact entitled to them owing to aluminium use in these engines for lighter weight and more mileage...

Haha, well i guess that's a characteristic of this age. ( or any age, hehe)

As long as i don't offend anyone and if i do , i apologize there and then. Thats kept me away from any negative behaviours till now. Lets hope it goes in the right spirit.

Okay- i guess its going OT now. Guys please write in, if you have any idea about the New Swift ( or the Swift's new engine).

Cheers !
