I LOVED the conecpt when it came out. The real deal broke my heart because it looks like the elder brother of the SX4. Still, they could see good sales in India if they launch it with the Fiat derieved 1.9L 150bhp MJD or the Peugeot derieved 1.6L DDiS with 90bhp.

Petrol itself will do the trick.

Needless to say what they have in offering at 13 lakhs is more than what most of us desire, only time can test the real metal of KIZASHI.

Till then there is only scope of admiration.

Concepts are just concepts.

13 lacs for a Suzuki petrol car might not go down well with the Indian Janatha!

In and around the 10-12 lac figure in diesel guise will be a different story though!

I know but Binoy expecting a Diesel avtar before they test run its success is hoping hope against hope from Maruti!

Reason being the Fiat Diesel engines.

But guess both have ample of time to decide on that,Wish SUZUKI come up with their own diesel engines in future.

Besides i dont see any Diesel variant of this babe anywhere in the web.

Hope KIZASHI doesnt suffer like its sibling Vitara, despite having rugged looks,Diesel unavilability in indian subcontinent took a toll on it.

even i dont feel that this car would do wonders for maruti with a petrol engine & that too at a price of abt 13 lacs or so.

as in this range when u get honda's, toyota's, chevrolet's kinds of richer brands why would one shell out so much of money on a brand that is famous only for its small cars in india & that too with not that great quality.

this is just my personal thought that i dont think people will experiment with it as we already have had maruti's bigger cars as failures.

take the simple example of vitara.

& as per me from this pics it doesnot look that richer or costlier.

Nehhh

SUV lovers are very few.

Needless to mention the reaction of your family when you even think of buying an SUV.

I will still bet on KIZASHI any day.

Besides i still remember how SX4 was looked down upon during its initial launch, but only time had in say about the more serious capabilites of the vehicle.

If SX4 can beat the hell out of most of the Big auto giants[no offence, but in my view thats a fact-even if CITY gets relaunched even as the most seductive model in future also-it will still be compared to SX4! have i considered the price tag?,nope just the benchmark of real no nonsense vehicle.Thats where SX4 stands, taller than the tallest.Just a MAN amongst cars, making real strong statements]

,I can foresee what KIZASHI's capabilities are.

Phew ,Anyway it will get launched in october 2010,so not a long wait i guess.

Its just feature loaded-Fully loaded AWD with drive assist,EBD,ABS,8 passenger air bags,Rockford fosgate integrated music console and Woofers,5 gear AT,2.4 litre inline 4 cylinder VVT engine and 19 inch alloys in CVT topmost variant at a stunning price of 13 lakhs ex showroom can very well make people drool over and give the competition in todays market a necessory kick.

Well well well am i dreaming too much!

Anyways back to square one, hope Maruti have enough grey matter in their brains left to utilise the oppurtunity by their SUZUKI counterparts.

All i can say is MARUTI going lucky in 2010.

Branding is what was needed and will be created sooner or later whether KIZASHI comes to india or not,MARUTI already has been putting crores and crores of money on their MANESAR office alone.

Forget about the money spent on other FACTORY facities.

MARUTI is more than what we know it to be.
