Hyundai i20 horn issue

Have been facing a problem with the my new i20.   The car horn echoes off in the cabin. I have shown the car at the service center but of no use. The horn echo still existed. I personally worked with the mechanic at the service center. The moment we would unscrew horn from the car body the echo vanished & on screwing it back the echo would return. We tested on couple of more i20's (1 Asta & 1 Magna) which had come for servicing. Surprisingly the issue existed in them too. On further prodding I came to know that it was a defect in all i20's & nobody had raised the issue. The manger promised to report this to the higher ups & get back with some solution on this issue. However I have still not heard from him & its been 20 days atleast.

Does anyone on this forum also face this issue ?

Well, you could try relocating the horn to another place on the chassis. See if this solves the problem.

@Puneet, You  could try getting an after market horn fixed and de activate the stock horn. While fitting the horn, make sure they don't cut any existing wires. You will not have any warranty problems and can fit the horn wherever you like
