Pls help

I would recommend go for Honda Accord / VW Passat. Both are good cars and have a good service backup. Skoda's service backup in india is not good though the car is awesome. You are looking for a petrol or diesel car?

Thanks Vikas for your inputs. I am looking for a Diesel & Automatic. Honda has not come up as yet with a Diesel in India & Passat is quite expensive. I have to Test drive the Laura2009 but on paper the features seem to be really awesome. What do you think?

Sunil, your requirements have narrowed/bound you you to Skoda Laura 2009 2.0 TDI AT L&K.

There is not much to think about it if the requirements are non-negotiable. if they are, there may be a room for discussion.

I would like to draw your attention to the talk about Skoda's less-than desired quality of service support network and instances of customer exploitation/harrassment by Skoda dealers - search on the forum for details.

Yes I would agree to Krishna. If your requirements are non negotiable, go ahead and buy a Laura. No doubt about the quality of the machine and the new looks are stunning. It is just mind blowing. I would say go ahead with Laura. Every car you consider would have some -ves or the other. so don't bother. You are indeed going to buy a wold class technology.

@ sunil,

laura is a wonderful car, can go ahead & buy it.

but it would be better to wait for the chevy cruze as it is launching in middle of the next month. it is a diesel & has a automatic box too. it has many new & great features.

wait for the cruze, if u like it than go ahead with it else laura is there.
