Traffic signals are getting equipted with cams ..even Traffic Police Men holding cameras are a commom scene now..

I remember a case that happened to my friend around 3 years back. He was driving without a seat belt. He was challaned and the was sent to his home.

He could pay the fine online also. So so convenient.

PS: I would like to say in this occasion that I dont endorse activities that incur fine.

Checkin on this link regularly should be a habbit even if we are driving according to the norms/standards..

God forbid but Lets suppose chalan has been issued under our name and it didnt reached the address in time or got misplaced...And we were late in paying the fine for a long long time didnt realsing what has actually happened could be a serious damage..

they will file a case against you and not showing up there would make your vehicle considered same as stolen

Quite interesting! I just randomly searched for an AP no, when found put it in the system and what I see is a list of occasions wherein the person has committed some mistake and has been fined. Another interesting point is that they are tracking the challans since 2007. Very cool. Thanks for sharing it, Alok.
