Ford small car Figo is here!

Importantly, Figo will be sold in India and exported to international markets. Also, Ford will source up to 85% of the parts for the small car from suppliers in India.

In news about Expected Price?

No news about the price. It's expected to launch in early 2010 only. Powered by two engine  1.2 litre petrol and a 1.5 litre diesel engine. Found one latest article in carwale only.

Definitely Ford will try a very competitive price, as they are seriously entering the small car segment with $500 million investment. With Polo and other new cars, the small car segment in India is getting hotter and hotter

The car looks good and must be specious. I guess the expected launch is in first quarter 2010.

Economic tmes article pasted in my thread above says it is expected to compete i20, swift etc.. and pics also shows its a b segment hatch, Figo does not look like A segment hatch.

and what is the source of the price you mentioned Ford india president did not gave it today ?

If ford keeps on improving their service network and spares prices like they are doing now. They will have a winner in hand.
