Cruze launching on 26.09.2009 in India

The cruze is going to be a big hit in india like the Civic.it has the awesome captiva's diesel engine.It has awesome interiors and it also has the PEPS system which is user friendly.It allows you to get into the car without taking out your keys(the keys have to be in a specified range)and then you can also start the car withut the keys.That's very convenient.

Captiva, Optra diesel and the Cruize, all have same diesel engine, the difference is the turbo system.

allthough, engine is very much powerful and having great pick up as well as milage.

Cruize will have great features like,

its keys are turning inside the key mouth.

head lamps remains on till 1 min., if we are at fully dark area.

antitheft system is have much new features and

central locking system will be activated , when car will reach 20kmph speed.

and some more a lot good new features with very special price.

This car can beat/challange Skoda Octavia , Toyota corolla Altise and the Honda Civic.

please update us with the date of launch...surely this car is going to beat in its class.but its GM.the brand image after recession reduces its sales by 50%

No my friend,

cruize is already launched and recession is affacted GM sales world wide, but there is no sales figure changed for GM India.

just in this sep.09, Gm has sold more than 7000 units, which is best ever. marketing doing appreciable  hard work. Captiva is going well and specially Spark more than 4,500 units sold in sep.09

GM india has 2500 + order of Tavera. so there is no matter of recession here .

And For Cruize, also i would like to add one more feature that

this car will comes with "auto wiping system"

it will comes with manual geared diesel engine, while petrol engine will have auto transmission as optional.
