I am not a guru, just trying to post which I found over the net, experts/gurus can provide you more info in a simple manner.

A component speaker matched for optimal sound quality. Typically a pair of tweeters and mid-bass drivers are matched with a crossover to limit the frequency range each speaker must accurately reproduce. Component speakers drivers are physically separated so the tweeter, which is very directional, can be placed in an optimal position, usually on the dash facing the listener, while the larger mid-bass driver can be placed where there is room, often in the lower front of the car doors.

Coaxial means that two or more forms share a common axis, for example: 2 way, 3 way

Anil,

Powerful speakers should go in the front. However in your case both speakers are matched in power.

At home/theatre or an place we listen to audio coming from the front. So the same should be done in the car for a better listening experience.

Most of the cars like Santro/Spark etc dont let us do this, as the speaker slots in the front are small. So because of this we are forced to put powerful speakers in the rear.

Adding to Neo's: Component system can also be 2way and 3way.

Your version of the car doesnt have it. The Swift/Ritz Zxi has audio control on the steering. They can be connected to the HU via an adapter.
