I don't think this is a good idea, installing films on both side of the glass/window will decrease the VLT and the same may violate the RTO rule (coz it will become more dark).

... it means both side or any one side?...I want to paste on both (inner+outer) side of the glass...pls clarify...thanks..

I meant either of the side... not both side Laughing

I am getting my Punto next week and the dealer has the following sun film options. He is offering me the basic Garware film for Free, however if I choose other films he will offer me a discount on the same.

He offered me the below brands

SUN FILM SIDE

Side Film Garware SRC.......................1650

Side Film Garware Ice Cool Elite..........7000

Ecodrive Essential Series....................3950 (Charcoal Color)

Ecodrive Elegant Series......................5450 (Green, Gold, Silver)

SUN FILM FRONT

Ecodrive Essential Series....................2500

Ecodrive Eminent Series.....................4500

I need suggestions and input on the above. He has said to go for the Elegant Series (Gold) which looks like a mirror and will go well with Fox Trote Azure Color of my car.

Thanks & Regards, Hitesh

@Hitesh, COngrest on your car.I would suggest you get Sunfilms done from Authorised dealer . Do not get carried away with free Sunfilm which anyways he will put only on sides & not in front which costs him nothing. Say Rs1650

The same films might cost you cheaper outside so pls do bit of homework  before you plan to goahead with dealer.

At price mentioned above for Garware I would any day go with 3M as I believe Garware to be a bit cheaper to 3M.

All the best

Anybody have any idea about Garware NF 50% VLT films. They claim heat rejection of 45-50%, and cost 3k in Pune.

Looks good. Any experience with them? How are they actually?

They should be good, but I have no first hand experience. 3K is certainly good price, but for NF series I find it a bit low. I was given the quote of 3.8K. Make sure the dealer is authorized Garware dealer (there are many duplicates floating around). Best is to call up Garware office and request them to direct you to an authorized dealer near your area. I did that and they quickly located the dealer and even asked the dealer to call me.

However, I did not want to spend so much for Garware and so I went for 3M for the same price. You can see details in this thread, just in case if you wish to evaluate the same path as mine.

I took this quote from Carax. They claim to be "India’s largest car accessories store".

However, I have no idea about their repo.
