Exterior: The car is very good to own & its a drivers car. It just zooms in the traffic & the pick up awesome. The quality is very good

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is nice but needs to be improved. But in an average, The interiors are good

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox:  The Engine & gear Box are awesome & the power steering point the vehicle in the right direction without any hassles. Breaking is Good.

 

Ride Quality & Handling: The vehicle really gives great pleasure on highways. You continue travelling miles without taking much haults.

 

Final Words: Take proper care of the car & It will never let you down. Maintain proper Air in the tyres. Check the Engine Oil level atleast once in a month. Keep your hand soft on the vehicle specially when you tackle with pot holes & speed Breakers. check the battery regularly & one think that I personally beleive, Keep your vehicle single hand use.

 

Areas of improvement: Spare parts are quite expensive Ford should seriously work in this particular area & the service at Ford Service Centers in pathetic. Instead of going to a Ford Service center, One should prefer to go to a local garage where he can save time & money as well.

If you are looking for a budget second hand sedan then this is the one of the best option for you. You will get it for around 1.8-2.5 lac budget range depending on model you are getting. If you decide too. Buy a second hand car it will give you a better experience compared to other cars. Pros- large boot space , balanced performance , sedan experience in low price . Cons- low mileage (around 15kmpl on highways) , spare parts are expensive.

It was a Pre-owned car ran just 34K kms and with in 18 months with me it crossed 50K I use it mainly on highway drives and occasionally to office (in Bengaluru traffic) on rainy days. Either on B2B traffic or on express highways one word, it is the driver's car. Look wise it is Cute and even after a decade of design it does not look old.Performance part it is unbeatable with 1596 CC engine and 101BHP Ford has good after sale servicing center. There is a mis-perception that it is costly to maintain. Not at all. Pros: Look, Power, Built, space, Highway FE, Hydraulic Power steering, dual Airbags and ABS Cons: Wheel size should have been 15''. City FE I am enjoying this power house in every drive. Sails in ghat section like cheetah and on highway it is unbeatable. With lighter foot and minimum Ac usage on highway I got an excellent FE of 21 kmpl, but highway average is around 15. But in City I am getting 9 to 10 maximum.Over all very good car to drive.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Superb, excellent driving quality, Highly stable, less noisy, good fuel economy 19-20 for city, 20-22 for highway, smooth gear change. On my 5 years, 80,000 Km experience, there was no starting problem, no engine problem, no issues. Overall performance is good.

Ride Quality & Handling Superb. While comparing with Swift dzire, top quality riding, god control. It is fully on control while riding at the speed of 140+ Km/H. Seats are very comfortable, longer drives are fun. Extra smooth suspensions are a plus. Overall design is excellent and so are the interiors. For this price you dont have any better model to compare.

Areas of improvement Power of engine should be increased. Ground clearance can be improved to 180 mm.

Exterior Good classic curves and finish. I like the simplicity.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice interiors. Space is decent. Though width is less, which is discomforting when 3 have to sit in the back seat.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine power is good. Fuel economy could be better. Gear box is a little on the harder side, vs say an SX4 or Verna.

Ride Quality & Handling This is fantastic. Great to drive on highways especially. Very good grip of the road. Good response to steering.

Final Words Used to be a good car in its category. Now it belongs to a lower category with Fiesta (New) taking its place. But still good value for money. 

Areas of improvement The clutch is very hard. I got the entire clutch plate assembly replaced. But it doesn't help. Even my drivers keep complaining of leg and back aches. Look at verna, or vento, or sx4 etc. Or even swift or i10 or i20. They all have such soft clutch pedals.

Its great to drive, other than for the hard clutch.Clutch is very hard.
