<p>I took delivery of Pajero Sport from Maya Motors, Chennai on 7th May'12 and drove it to Bengaluru, where i stay. For the next 7 days i have been driving it 30-40 kms a day. She has done about 700 kms so far out of which half is on highway and rest in city.</p> <p>I actively considered Toyota Fortuner and Hyundai Santa Fe and took a test ride in both. However, ended up having a Pajero Sport which i had not taken a test ride on, not even seen physically !</p> <p>What a fantastic decision in the end ?!!!&nbsp;&#x1F60A;</p> <p>It takes me around 30-min to my office in the morning if i start a little early and those 30-min are the happiest in my life now.</p> <p>The posture on driver seat, the view thru the windshield, that grip on the steering wheel, responsiveness of the engine after 2000rpm, smoothness of the drive, ease with which she tackles the speed breakers and handles the rough patches on the road, manoeuvrability in traffic ... .. .</p> <p>and the head-turner that she is ... .. .</p> <p>the experience is like <strong>WOW !</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><br/></strong></p>Awesome ride , great styling & sexy interiors.None so far in few hundred kilometers that i have driven so much

Biggest SUV ever driven on Indian roads. Most comfortable seating which is no way comparable others

<p><strong>Exterior</strong> Tata Safari Storme - Giagantic look, tallest among remaining SUV's, Range rover styling makes Storme the best looking SUV in India.</p> <p><strong>Interior (Features, Space &amp; Comfort)</strong> Best Seating in front and back (5 seats), Most spacious in seating then compared to Fortuner. High standard plastics and fittings compared to any of the other SUV's which includes XUV and Duster.</p> <p><strong>Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox</strong> Have filled the tank and till now have roamed 500 km still i have not refueled, Fuel economy is also very good looking at the weight and size mileage is really good compared to Dicor. Engine is good, Gear box is bit hard.</p> <p><strong>Ride Quality &amp; Handling</strong> Best in the class and there is no doubt about it. You can not compare Storme comfort with any of other SUV's till (30 lakhs). Best in ride quality especially off roads. Handling is really good compared to predecessor.</p> <p><strong>Final Words</strong> Firstly, Storme is not falling under Tata Safari category. We should remove Safari and name it as Tata Storme. Reason is because Storme has got new Chasis which is 78 kgs lighter weight and 50 times stronger than Safari Dicor. Suspension is totally changed. Front and rear disk breaks with ABS and EBD. Spare wheel has been removed and two silencors. Front look and lightings are replica of Range rover. Rear as well range rover look.</p> <p><strong>Areas of improvement </strong>Tata team are very very poor in marketing such a best product in 10 - 15 lakhs slot on road price.</p> <p>Tata Storme is one of the best quality product of Tata's ever and just take the example of Royal enfeild marketing atleast and try to create more awareness to the mid age segment (20 - 35).</p> <p>Storme - Last row has to be changed, thats very very vital while people are selecting SUV's. Try to do a survey, atleast. I believe there is no complaint in the vehicle but if you change the seating then it will definately be no problem Storme for sure.</p> <p>Murali. B</p>Height, Comfort, Seating, Road View, Suspension, Braking (ABS and EBD for front and back)Speakers of the audio are not upto the standards and last row needs to be improved a lot.
