Bhavnagar is 200 kms from Ahmedabad as well as Vadodara. Alang, the famous Ship Breaking Yard, is only 55 kms from Bhavnagar. Bhavnagar is in the interior part of Gujarat, viz. Saurashtra region. Rajkot, Jamnagar, Kutch, Morvi etc. are all in the Saurasthra region.
