    Its my mate since ages

Exterior Cute face, ever smiling front always make me happy. Rear is based on taste, some likes it and some doesn't. A lot of reflectors at the back. Amazing paint and sheet quality. Sheet quality is even better than Swift Dzire or Ciaz.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is much better compared to Alto, Nano and Eon. Solid plastics even on lower parts (area lower than the gear lever). Practical cabin with number of storage places for 1L water bottles, wallets, mobile phones, and vehicle documents. Loved the center console design with cute baby face when air-flow points are closed. Well planned space utilization based on small size. Ambience is much better than Alto. Interior quality is somewhat comparable with Swift. Large glass area make the cabin roomy and bright.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 1L smartech engine with 4 cylinders makes the Spark a class above. 1 additional cylinder helps in bettering the NVH levels. One needn't to change the gears much in traffics. Gearbox is one of the greatest USP for Chevrolet. I never faced any issue regarding gearbox in last 9 years. Performance is amazing in city as well as on highways keeping in minth the car has a smaller engine. Obviously i10 is much better in 80-100kmph but spark is much better in doing speeds over 120kmph. Fuel economy is on lower side. 10-12kmpl in city and 15-18 kmpl on highway.

Ride Quality & Handling The most stable car in the segment and even a segment  above. One can easily do speed of 130-140kmph without even noticing any wind noise or bumpy ride. Sterring is little light, good for city traffic but doesnot gain much weight when doing speed. But steering never made me feel uncomfortable even at speed of 140-145kmph. Large and big dashboard do restrict the roadview but not much. A-Pillar obtruct the view on hills and large turns.

Final Words An amazing product for entry-level hatchback. Space is obviously an issue. Comfortable for 4 adults. Great front seats make the long drives of around 800km in a day very confortable. Little costly to maintain as well as to buy, but its worth a product of your extra penny.

Areas of improvement Better customer service, after sale, Workshop experience. Tyre wear out unevenly, more on inner side with proper wheel alignment and tyre pressure. Better marketing could result in great market of such a great product by Chevrolet.

VFM, Refined engine, Great Quality, Amazing stabilitySmall size, rear leg room, high loading lip
