      Exterior

It is the most good looking SUV in the segment..It can beaten in exterior looks for only those who like truck type SUV's...

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Interior is too much luxurious in the segment ...Only driver can feel that he/she is driving a Suv and all the passangers will feel that they are travelling in a super luxurious car..

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

engine performance is very good..It is the latest tecnology SUV.Which produces 150BHP in just 2000cc engine...which i think is a miracle  from GM..

      Ride Quality & Handling

Ride quality is very good ..it gives a smoothe drive without any bumps...I drive this car till 180 km/ph speed ...and i can make sure that it was a most safest car as i do get to know when i was on this much speed..handeling is excellent...

      Final Words

       A DREAM SUV...

      Areas of improvement

a/c at the rear should be done..

GREAT POWER,EXCELLENT COMFORT,SPACIOUS,GOOD LOOKS & LUXURIOUS INTERIORno a/c vents in the rear.

Exterior Company has worked hard on the exteriors and had succeeded as far as an indian exterior is concerned. It has extremely muscular body which will be liked by everyone.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features as i have sad they are the best amongst this segment car but the company has to work on providing legroom, headroom space for approx. 6 persons because indians buy cars which allow 6 to 7 no. of people to sit comfortably at this price.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It is just next to perfect. I think no car in this segment can compete Captiva in this category.

Ride Quality & Handling Again this area must be improved by Chevorlet because engine is very powerful so it is important that the car has to be smooth it lacks these qualities. so in riding quality i would give it 2 and 1/2 stars out of 5 but its handling is excellent and it has to be 5/5 in this case.

Final Words Captiva is a must buy car if you are looking for luxury as well as adventure at a low price. It is expensive but its price is reasonable and if you are looking to buy a safari or aria install more money and just buy it.

Areas of improvement Chevorlet is a good company but has to improve its service. and there are almost no areas of improvement company wise.

fuel economy is very good but features are more better than a BMW X5 which makes it a super luxurything which does'nt like is it does not have an automatic version and also space is less

Exterior Love the beautiful exterior.  Looks very similar to Cadillac SUV.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comfortable, attractive interior, suprisingly spacious.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox My Captiva has 47,800 miles on it and needs a new transmission.  Thankfully I got extended warranty but even at that - A NEW TRANSMISSION!!!!! Made a loud noise, refused to go into 2nd gear and then after I parked it the SUV would not go in reverse. Then after I turned it off it would not go in drive. I had to have it towed to dealership. After 2 weeks I am still waiting for transmission to be sent to dealership.

Ride Quality & Handling Smooth ride, handles well.

      Final Words NA.

Areas of improvement Obviously the transmission problem needs to be looked into.  Better fuel economy.

Great looking, love the features, comfortable, smooth ridepoor fuel economy, needs new transmission

      The Exterior

Classy. Just an awesome look. I really think mine is better looking than all the Captiva's I see. Sleek, but has a look of power which does not comprimise the beauty. Looks small, but the closer you get it appears to be huge. Mirrors the style of the Cadillac and Range Rover on the side. Black has to be the Prime Color that gives it a well defined muscle.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

I am very comfortable and the leather interior gives a look of expensive as it does the driver. I have all the bells and whistles which gives the statement that this is not just another Chevrolet.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

I an okay with the Performance. When I need to move...it gets me there in a hurry. I did not want a Vet...or Camaro.

      Ride Quality & Handling

It handles well. Not very heavy in my opinion which causes me to drive carefully but it feels like Rack and Pinion. At night...I fell like I am driving the BMW 6X...Night Rider.

      Final Words

Recommend it. And this is not my first SUV.

      Areas of improvement

You might as well place the Rear Camera...you have given it everything else

Since I have owned several SUV's I consider the fuel economy great.I really cannot find anything I don't like.

Chevrolet Captiva has sufficient room for accommodating five adults easily. This car is 4.6m long, 1.8m wide and 1.7m high, with a wheelbase of 2.7m. When going out in short drives, the third row of seats in the Chevrolet Captiva can seat two teenagers and also grownups. The model comes fitted with a 17 inch alloy wheels, leveling suspension, partially leather trim, heated windscreen and the electronic stability monitoring system, ESP.

There are several other stunning feature of GE’s new Chevrolet Captiva such as a weight limiting net, obverse passenger under-seat cargo placement space as well as compact collection box for containing coins, maps and other similar items. Other add-ons include side safety airbags as standard. The ESP has been installed in the car as per norm along with the all-wheel drive package. This particular package serves impeccably with ESP and comes into play when the situation is slippery and therefore, dangerous.

The apparatus keep tab on all information directed by the steering wheel, tyres, brakes and accelerator pedal robotically making important modifications, controlling grip especially when the situation is not right. On the whole, GE’s new Chevrolet Captiva is proportioned perfectly and highlight packed SUV with fine off-road capabilities. The price of Chevrolet Captiva is expected to be around Rs 18 lakh. This car’s available in nine vibrant colors.

I have owned a Captiva since February 2008, possibly among the first owners in the country. There is no real competition when you are looking for a diesel 7 seater at this price range. I was a little concerned that it would be underpowered and that the ac may not be effective during the summers. However have found both these to be pretty decent . In all other respects this is truly a good car. Very spacious, lots of intersting add ons, latest electronics, luxurious interiors. I did miss not having a 4wd once when i got stuck in a mud pit. An automatic verion would also be niceGood rugged looks, great interiors, latest electronics, 7 seater dieselac controls badly placed, no 4wd

One of the most majestic cars (SUV's) on the Indian roads today. even though I dont own it, the sheer look of it on the road makes me want it more and more.

I have a family of 6 people (four of whom are 6 feet tall). Thus, the Captiva is what I need to ensure that all of us travel together and none feels the stress of the trip and are captivated enough.

Also, all of us are nature enthusiasts; thus, the Captiva gives us ample opportunity to ensure that we are able to ensure wilderness, nature, everything available in this world.

It is a must buy for everyone who has a large, adventorous family.

Pure luxury which is showcased in every modeltoo expensive

      Exterior is good.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Also good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very fine.

Ride Quality & Handling Nothing to complain.

Final Words Overall captiva model is good but features promised in the list of features are missing at the time of delivery. and brought to the Goa dealer we are told that company has discontinued when the feature is very much seen in the lower models. Glove box cooler was missing and which we find in most of the hyundai models. But well known and prestigious american company like chevrolet cannot provide is surprising and depressing as well.  Then one would certainly feel why spend so much and get not worth.

Areas of improvement Please appoint such dealers who are hard working and customer friendly and co-operative. Every time my car met with accident i have not got it repared in less than 4 months now my car met with accident in the month of june and till today it is in the workshop due to un-avalability of spares. the dealer do not want to make inventry of spares in the store, as well as not deliver in short period. The blame is put on company that it does not have the necessary spares. which points to the fact that company is failed on all fronts of after sales service. They are only interested is pushing the sales and leave you high and dry in search

Of spares. Since I have purchased the vehicle 33 months ago 12 months it is lying in the workshop for repair. I am really fad up to approach the workshop as to when the car will be delivered. So those who want to go for Chevrolet models please think twice before you go for chevrolet models.

Car is comfortable, but for the price lot of features missing, features promised but not provided. After sale is very bad. twice my vehicle is lying 5 months each time after accident for repair..
