Tata Motors sales figures for February 2009

Tata Motors sales figures grew by 1.5% this February as 19,039 units of its passenger cars were sold in the domestic market. Tata Motors exports reduced by 68% compared to last February.
The company sold 11,315 units of the Indica range; 4,209 units of the Indigo range and 3,515 units of its SUVs. The sales of the Indica and Indigo family grew by 12% and 27% this February. The company sold 43,811 vehicles (including exports and commercial vehicles) this February.

When is Tata releasing that $2000 car in India? Im sure I read that it was this month? If so then I expect their sales figures to increase quite a lot for this month!

This looks to be a good move from TATA. But the thing to be focused is that how this would increase the Indian traffic.
