Students from the JJ School of Arts have decided to show their enthusiasm for motorsport by constructing a life-size Formula 1 car made entirely out of recycled Red Bull Cans.

Michael Schumacher confirmed he won’t return to Formula 1. The seven-time Formula 1 World Champion was scheduled to make a comeback to Formula 1 in the upcoming European Grand Prix to held at the Valencia Street circuit in Spain.

ING confirmed today that it will not be renewing the three-year sponsorship (2007-2009) contract with Renault F1 and that it will end its presence in F1 beyond the 2009 season.

Renault F1’s title sponsor ING has decided to cut back its sponsorship from Formula 1 very soon. The Dutch-based company has predicted to make a loss of around 1 billion Euros for the 2008 financial year.

The AT&T Williams team today confirmed that it had entered into an extended and increased sponsorship agreement with Randstad Holding nv. Randstad has been a team sponsor since 2006. Following agreement to enter into a three year partnership with Williams F1 in January 2007.

Force India will use Mercedes-Benz engines and McLaren gearboxes from next season following the confirmation of a new technical partnership. It comes after last week’s news that Ferrari had agreed to end their engine supply deal with the team a year early.
