Hyundai to facelift Santro
July 23, 2009 – 1:10 pm by Rachit Hirani
Hyundai will do up its existing Santro Xing hopefully by the end of 2009. Hyundai which entered the Indian market with its Santro plans to tweak it.
The new Santro will even have an upgrade under its hood. In 2010, the BS IV norms will be regulated for 11 major cities across the country. The engine in the new Santro will fulfill the emission norms. The torque of the engine will go up by about 20Nm and the power should also increase by 1bhp.
The visible changes in the car include a new chrome grille, new headlamps and rear lights, and a few more updates. The interiors have been altered as well. The beige will replace the charcoal grayish interiors.
