Hyundai announces discounts for government employees

Hyundai Motor India Ltd today announced a special scheme for state and central government employees. Under the scheme, there will be special pricing, attractive finance options and more to enable government employees to own a Hyundai.

In view of the fact that government employees are due to receive the arrears of their salaries after revision in the Sixth Pay Commission, the arrears can be utilised as the down payment for purchase of the car and the revised salary increment will help them to accommodate their monthly EMI’s. The scheme will be run through October and November, 2008.

Hyundai has tied up with State Bank of India, Axis Bank and HDFC Bank to provide with attractive finance schemes for the government employees for their vehicle purchase.

The discount for the different models is as follows: Santro non-ac: Rs 17000, Santro GL/GLS: Rs 22000, i10: Rs 10000, Getz 1.1: Rs 22000, Getz 1.3: Rs 27000, Accent Executive: Rs 12000 and both the petrol and diesel Verna, Rs 31000.

    Interested in buying a car Hyundai Santro Gl/GLS with a down payment of Rs1,00,000/-
    and banace amount is required to be financed by any bank at reasonable interest and EMI of 3 years.
    What special discount I will get as a state govt employee? What will be the Price for the above brand for Petrol and LPG version
    after all discounts and effective EMI. Can I enjoy Special discount over and above declared scheme of decade old pricing.

  7. Horrible and worst service you can ever think to get from a car show room.
    Experience : I went under a surgery so I needed a car asap , so I thought of purchasing a second hand car by giving full amount in cash.I went to Mukesh Hyundai, kolkata on 1st of december and booked a Santro ( without even test driving it) on 1st of december and was promised to get the car after 2 days ( i.e on 3rd december). When I called on 3rd december , I was asked to come by evening 6 pm , when again I called on 6pm , I was asked to come by 7 pm . On 7pm , with a silly excuse I was asked to come next day by 11 am . Next day on 11 am I was asked to come by 2 pm again on 2 pm I was asked to come by 3 pm.
    Finally this time without calling I went by 3 pm. The car was not ready and some how I got the reallty that car was in horrible condition( along with few lies came to light which was not informed to me earlier) . I asked then to cancel the booking and refund my booking charge( 5000 rs). Next day again I was asked to come to check one more car , this time I took my driver along with me and drove the car and again booked this second car and was informed to me that will get the delivery after 7 days as this car required some denting painting.I agreed to it and again paid 10000rs more and checked papers before hand this time and again found a lie this time ( over phone I was informed that car was of decmeber 2003 but originally it was of june 2003). Still I accpeted the offer as I wanted the car.

    Again when I called after 7 days , the idiot manger told me that its seven working days and his 7 working days didnt happened even after 18 days . Then I went to the showroom , had a chat with senior most person and was promised delivery of car in next 5 days.

    I doubt that if this sort of service is there with this so called elite showroom then we customer should think twice before purchasing any car from them.
