Hyundai announces discounts for government employees
October 10, 2008 – 7:41 pm by Charles PennefatherHyundai Motor India Ltd today announced a special scheme for state and central government employees. Under the scheme, there will be special pricing, attractive finance options and more to enable government employees to own a Hyundai.
In view of the fact that government employees are due to receive the arrears of their salaries after revision in the Sixth Pay Commission, the arrears can be utilised as the down payment for purchase of the car and the revised salary increment will help them to accommodate their monthly EMI’s. The scheme will be run through October and November, 2008.
Hyundai has tied up with State Bank of India, Axis Bank and HDFC Bank to provide with attractive finance schemes for the government employees for their vehicle purchase.
The discount for the different models is as follows: Santro non-ac: Rs 17000, Santro GL/GLS: Rs 22000, i10: Rs 10000, Getz 1.1: Rs 22000, Getz 1.3: Rs 27000, Accent Executive: Rs 12000 and both the petrol and diesel Verna, Rs 31000.
