M&M to launch pick-up trucks in the US - Spy Pictures

Mahindra plans to launch pick-up trucks in the US market powered by diesel motors. We caught one of these pick-ups when they were being tested.

Car manufacturers like Honda, Nissan, Toyota have all put their US plans on hold. The Indian manufacturer believes it to be the crunch time to compete with these global manufacturers. The pricing and the launch are yet to be decided.

Mahindra intends to launch a new SUV based on the platform of the Scorpio. The car will be designed with the US market in mind and built accordingly. Maybe Mahindra will be launching a gasoline powered Scorpio in the US market.

  2. It’s a shame that they are waiting so long to bring them in. Originally They said 2009. I’ve been waiting paitently to trade in my F150. Now with the delay until 2010 it will cost me $ 3000.00 to $ 4000.00 more because the “cash for clunkers” money runs out in November 2009. I’ll have to rethink my purchase.
