Hyundai to continue with Government and PSU scheme

December 12, 2008 – 6:01 pm by Rachit Hirani

Hyundai Motor India Ltd, has announced an extension on its scheme for the government and PSU employees. According to Hyundai, the scheme is extended as they received good response for this scheme.

The scheme has been extended till the end of December. This scheme is an add-on to the already existing special schemes. Hence, the government employee’s scheme is more valued as the special schemes which were added recently are also added to it. Hyundai cars are available at lesser cost, and better financing options for government employees. Now there is even further reduction in the price as the 4% excise cut has been implemented. Government employees can benefit by up to Rs 20,000 on the entire Hyundai range.

  3. It is Ridicules when Hyundai Motor India Ltd, has announced an extension on its scheme for the government and PSU employees. According to Hyundai, the scheme is extended as they received good response for this scheme.

The company has made a press release both on its website and also on the print and TV media announcing that the scheme for the government and PSU employees has been extended till the end of December. It also further says that this scheme is an add-on to the already existing special schemes. This scheme is applicable on the entire product range of Hyundai products and there are attractive exchange and loyalty schemes as well. Government employees can avail the exchange benefits up to Rs. 20,000 on all the above cars. Hence, the government employee’s scheme is more valued as the special schemes, which were added recently are also added to it. Hyundai cars are available at lesser cost, and better financing options for government employees. Now there is even further reduction in the price as the 4% excise cut has been implemented. Government employees can benefit by up to Rs.20,000 on the entire Hyundai range.

But in reality the above offer is bogus and are not true and the company like Hyundai is taking the whole country and the Government Employees for a ride by making such bogus campaigning to woo customers and cheating them when it comes to offering discounts as announced.

Hope authorities at Hyundai especially Mr. Arvind Saxena, Sr. Vice-President for Marketing & Sales, HMIL, who said: “We value the government employees and are pleased with the tremendous response that we have received from them. The scheme announced will provide the government employees with an attractive value for money proposition. We have extended the scheme so that more and more government employees can be benefited. “ I just wanted to ask Mr. Arvind Saxena one thing, who asked him to make such announcements when he is not able to adhere to it.

  5. This scheme is only meant to count number of stupid government employees running around for their specialized treatment. None of company sales Managers know the scheme throughout December. Automated customer relation office will all the time ask you for wait for three days. Even the new scheme for general public double damaka or Dimak discount scheme is offered by removing the earlier free insurance, free bies and cenvat, but very useful for the company advertize it as greatest reduction, Market loss and ask the Government suport. Similar is the case with Magnas two variants. Price difference is only Rs.7,000/ for the new engine between i10 Magna 1.1 and 1.2 kappa Magna but the company ignorantly removes many things as public can not notice those useless things. It is high time for Hyundai to build some sales clarity and credibility rather cutting the corners. Thinking Government employees to be fools to rush around will only boomarang the company desires. Since the purpose is already served, the ad is already removed from company web.So please dont get into these ads, live on local market being poor Indian customer.
