Chevrolet Aveo UV-A within two weeks
December 20, 2006 – 11:07 am by Banwari Lal Sharma
Chevrolet India has started massive ad-campaign for its upcoming car, UV-A. UV-A is a hatchback version of Aveo which was introduced in February this year. The UV-A is expected to be launched this month only, the latest would be first week of January 2007. Initially GM planned to house the same 1.4 liter engine in UV-A that is found under the hood of Aveo 1.4 but in order to get tax benefits they reduced the capacity to 1.2 liter. This decent-looking car has very good interior space which might be the USP of this car.
Aveo UV-A’s 1.2L SOHC Petrol engine can deliver maximum 76ps of power which might not be enough for performance-buffs. I am afraid car might give a sluggish feeling in situations like climbing an over-bridge with AC on and there are four people inside! The power output is nowhere close to Swift (90ps) and even Getz (83ps). It’s crystal clear that as far as performance is concerned, Maruti Suzuki Swift will still rule in the segment and the UV-A will make no apparent change in the scene. For people who needs good space inside, UV-A is definitely a good option and it will give tough competition to Getz who is the only spacious premium hatchback as of now.
I was expecting this car’s price starting at ~3.5 lakh due to the fact that it qualifies as a small car as per Indian government rules (length should be less than 4 meters and engine capacity less than 1200cc for Petrol cars). But surprisingly this car has a starting price-tag of Rs.4,15,000 ex-showroom Mumbai (as per their advertisements) which is quite similar to Swift. The fully loaded version with ABS is priced at Rs.5,05,000 while you can avail an ABS-version Swift for Rs.4,65,000 in Mumbai! Chevrolet Aveo is selling well, however it cannot be considered as a hit. The USP of Aveo is its low price and good interiors, Aveo UVA is lacking at price factor, lets see if it can really fight with the segment-leader, Swift?

GM still is not in sync with the tastes of the middle class indian. If they were in the mood of grabbing market share in india they should have passed on the excise cut benefits to the customer. I am afraid with the advent of Swift and Getz diesel the Aveo UVA will never be able to catch on the masses in the premium hatchback category. I think GM is betting on the Spark for that. Good Luck to GM.

Aveo UVA, is that the buzz word around? Well i was really looking forward for this car. I thought it would be a better option than Swift or Getz. I even planned to make advance booking.
Your review on the same has left me with no choice but to wait and test drive the same before booking. But i am sure this wont be a that bad car as describes, after all its Chevrolet!! Am i sounding biased!

Good….let me know when it’s released for sale in Bangalore
By G S SHRIPATHI on Jan 1, 2007
It looks like (from your comparison with GETZ-GLX & Swift-ZXI ) UVA LT with option pack is expensive than both SWIFT-ZXI & GETZ-GLX. In fact Swift ZXI is much better option from safety angle(AIRBAGS & ABS/EBD) Also ZXI comes with climate control and more powerful engine. The UVA bootspace is also smaller. Further current discounts availbale on ZXI(30K) & GLX(40K) make these cars much cheaper in Mumbai(By 40K atleast)
By VK on Jan 3, 2007
Well Shripathi,
I think U-VA is on sale in Bangalore now. You just check-out the nearest GM dealership. Delivery might take a couple of weeks, though.
By Banwari on Jan 4, 2007
Yes, VK. U-VA is costlier than both Swift and Getz. U-VA LT with Option pack is costing whopping 6.15 lakh on-road Mumbai and still it doesn’t many features that the least expensive of the three i.e. Swift ZXi has! If U-VA is better than Swift in anything then its interior-space. Swift is marginally better than Aveo U-VA on every other parameter.
By Banwari on Jan 4, 2007
i dont think that this u r car U_VA will not survive but it will struggle in front of swift and getz look wise perfomance wise and pricewise .there are so many thing lacking u should open u r heart to provide the many features like abs and ebd and airbag
By shekar shetty on Jan 5, 2007
The Indian market and mentality is that they will opt for a bigger car if they have to pay anything above 4.5 lacs. I think for any car of the smaller verson to be a hit has to be priced below 4.5 on road to capture the market. This car sure does look promising but the price is a big drawback.
MARUTI knows the Indian customers so well that it always prices its smaller cars at an affordable rate for the common people. That is the reason why they hav more than 65% of the market share in small cars.
By Anshul Sogani on Jan 5, 2007
This segment of review I fear may prove the detrimental factor in the long run also maintainance cost shall add to U-VA’s agony.

The Chev. aveo -UV-A will enjoythe excise cuts as for a small car. But the benefits have not been passed to the customer. The performance of this car is not so good as the near competitors - Swft and Getz. I was waiting for this car to arrive and did not go in for the Getz last month. But With the present pricing probably the Getz is a better option.
By rajeev agarwal on Jan 7, 2007
It seems that GM has not passed on excise cut benifits to customers. The next budget may reduce excise for big cars from 24% to 16% and for small cars from 16% to 8%. The Swift & Getz will be cheaper. At that time GM may reduce the price of UVA by passing on the huge excise cut (8% + 8%) making UVA very attractive.
By VK on Jan 7, 2007
with the specs that the Aveo UVA has (as per their website) i believe that it is a bit over priced. maybe GM is not yet fully aware of the indian mindset. if the car has to succeed in this segment GM should price it very agressively. infact they have a very difficult task ahead of them as they have to attract swift and Getz buyer to their camp.
By Rajit Arya on Jan 9, 2007
Yes, agree with all that UVA LT with Option pack is costing more than Swift ZXi. But the LS version is a good pack when compared with Getz 2nd version.
Being 1.2lt if the mileage is good it will pickup in the market when compared to Swift and Getz. Test droved and found to be comfortable mainly with 20/30 kmph in 4 - 5th gear. Ideal for city conditions. I’m planning to go for UVA LS as now it is been offered at inaugural price all over India.
By Syresh on Jan 10, 2007
The Aveo UVA is wrongly priced if taken in to comaprison with the segment leaders vis a vis features and power. Maybe they will sell in the intial stages on the Newness factor as well as a larger car and Chevy name. Later on to keep the numbers Chevy may have to do a rethink on the price definitly or maybe add some more features such as Alloy wheels on all models ABS and AIRBAGS
By Nandan on Jan 10, 2007
Its a beautiful car as a look & also spacious compared to both Swift or Getz. Now time has come to change the mindset, now time to see many small cars with higher prices. Today crowded market need these type of models which are small in size but bigger inside. So, i think Price of UVA is good, after all you taking of brand like “Chevrolet”.
By Abhishek on Jan 10, 2007
much expected car , failed to live up to the expectations in terms of price.
By kumrn on Jan 11, 2007
Hi Guys,
Since I havent test driven the vehicle , I am not too sure about the UVA. Lets forget what GM has done in the past. Of course price seems to be a factor……but I am sure this vehicle is comfy for the rider as per what the cnbc review says.Handling is smooth and since the cc is lesser it will not be that powerful as the others.Mileage is a factor….dont be misled by what the “maruti hate club members” say.The mileage will depend on the way u ride it.”TEST DRIVE THIS VEHICLE” !!
By Abhilash on Jan 11, 2007
Test drived the aveo uva today ita a wonderful car goes smoothly even on bad roads, went on the worst road knowingly with bumpers tell u guys a very smooth drive no comparision with swift or getz gonna book it tomorrow
By Praveen on Jan 12, 2007
why carwale still not taking u-va still now in recommendation?Fearing maruti publicity factor? Why not comparing or giving proof of 101 ps srv?
By abhijit dasgupta on Jan 14, 2007
Aveo U-VA was much awaited small car i was waiting 4
but it was no where near maruti swift with powerful look, powerfool engine(90ps) and even more spacious sry 4 chev U-VA
By Lokesh Mahajan on Jan 15, 2007
I have test driven this vehicle. It’s very smooth on rough patches also. Swift (all maruti vehicle) make rattling sound on rough roads. UVA has independant suspensions. I have already booked one. I am sure I will get 12 kmpl in city.
By Milind on Jan 16, 2007
It seems prices for UVA has already been dropped by 13,000 in Mumbai!!(Check chevrolet.co.in)
By VK on Jan 17, 2007
its a bit more heavy on the pocket of indian mioddle class had the price been kept in the range of 3.5lacs to 5lacs it would have been better.
By pavan on Jan 17, 2007
I have test driven Aveo-UVA twice in the last week. It is a spacious, beautiful and a very smooth car. The power is less compared to swift, but adequate. Price is little higher but LS model is appealing. The most important difference is its driving pleasure! In this respect, it scores over Swift. Looks are far better than Swift and Getz.
By Dr. K. V. Kale on Jan 21, 2007
if GM authorise any CNG manufacture then certainly This car can beat Getz and swift but this might create problem on overbridge with low power of 76 ps. why this article does not cover the feature comparision of Getz swift U-VA so that we can take the decision to buy the best one.
By Sandeep on Jan 22, 2007
Abhishek, I tend to agree with most of your comment. But this part doesn’t seem digestible. I don’t think Chevrolet brand is that acceptable in India. None of its models have been much successful as we expected them before their launch. In fact Opel was more successful brand here in India.
Secondly, what we are getting in terms of Chevrolet U-VA is Daewoo Kalos with GM badge on it. It’s pricy for sure. If it was just buying price that is high then it couldn’t have been a big problem, consider the fact that GM will try to take a toll in terms of spares-cost and servicing charges too.
By Banwari on Jan 22, 2007
Abhijit, We apologize for this long delay in Aveo U-VA’s introduction in Recommendation System. Its purely due to the fact that we have just test-driven the car. You can expect its introduction in Car Recommendation System by tomorrow evening.
By Banwari on Jan 22, 2007
And yes, SRV is there in Recommendation System for quite long time now.
By Banwari on Jan 22, 2007
Yes, VK. The major slashing is done in LT variant. Base and LS versions are slashes by just 1,000 rupees.
By Banwari on Jan 22, 2007
Sandeep,
CNG-kit might help in sales but car will suffer from poor-performance. Moreover Swift and Getz’s Diesel versions might discourage U-VA’s sales further.
Find below detailed comparison of top-variants of all three cars i.e. U-VA, Swift and Getz.

By abhijit dasgupta on Jan 22, 2007
Most probably error in entering the data. Corrected now.
By Banwari on Jan 23, 2007
Since I haven’t test driven the vehicle so far but the look is great. Small from outside but SPACIOUS from inside. Leg space is good enough. Price should be kept within the range of indian mioddle class, I think that would have been better. Little bit worried about fuel economy (Average)and moreover the fear is all about the maintenace cost as I am already having Opel Astra.
By Sanjeev Sharma on Jan 23, 2007
how long will carwale supress u-va in recommendation?
By abhijit dasgupta on Jan 23, 2007
ARE ALL MARUTI SWIFT AND HYUNDAI GETZ MODELS ARE COMING IN 06 VERSION OF ENGINE AND CHASIS NO?IF SO U-VA IS RIGHTLY PRISED EXCEPT HIGHER END VERSION.IT IS COSTLY IN SRV VARIANT TOO.CAN IT BE EXPLAINED?
By abhijit dasgupta on Jan 23, 2007
Abhijeet, we apologize for the delay. The delay was because of some technical problems. Trust us, we were not trying to supress U-VA in Recommendation System. We are not against or in favour of any manufacturer as such.
Anyways, U-VA is there in Recommendation System now. Check out.
By Banwari on Jan 25, 2007
It’s January, all cars that were being sold in 2006 have 2006 manufacturer only. So Maruti Swift and Hyundai Getz are no exceptions. Within a couple of weeks, there will be 2007-models in market and manufacturers won’t ask you some extra money for that. So, it’s not a justfication for U-VA’s high pricing at all.
I couldn’t get this part of your question! Please clarify.
By Banwari on Jan 25, 2007
what i meant to say that srv optrion pack is also overprised similar to option pack of u-va.it is not understood why GM deliberately does this.if you ever visit chevloret singapore site you will be surprised to see the srv model named optra5 there has so many features and brilliant colour options.it is costly than optra sedan there.so also u-va named aveo5 there.GM has compelled who were eager for a better option against the looks, back space and low end torque of swift and slightly old getz which anytime may be revamped as it seems its upper versions are not easily available in market, may also due to switchover in diesel version,to think again.afterall you cannot throw your money just like in bars in case of a car.now the peoples who have purchased srv will find it hard to absorb when GM will realise it and will loose this segment of customer for ever.
Still next evening has not came in case of u-va.time is up.it is the diesel version which will rule for swift.so why dare to give recommendation
list inclusive of u-va?

By abhijit dasgupta on Jan 30, 2007
Can anybody say whether price of u-va option pack version has been reduced in Mumbai only or rest of the cities of India? The dealers opinion is that it has been reduced in Mumbai only due to some depot factor at Pune but if his words were to be taken into consideration, the prices of other variants would have been reduced too.Confusion hence persists.can anyone throw some light on it ?
By abhijit dasgupta on Feb 7, 2007
Aveo UV A was released to compete with Swift after close to 2 yrs however Maruti has moved much much ahead with the Swift Diesel and has ventured out to new markets. Poor competitors never had strong strategies to tackle the market leader. I wish their management should go back to schools to learn ABC of capturing markets with their proper products aimed to capture market shares with correct features / prices. After all customer is no fool !
By tl on Feb 16, 2007
In America nobody buys American cars then why Indians are even thinking about American cars, they can never beat Japanese cars performace & fuel economy & reliability. Chevy & Ford will find really tough to sell intelligent Indian buyer in the time to come. Its hard to beat Japanese product. If any car company has to make big in Indian mass market then it has to either provide greatest quality like Honda, Toyota or price it competitively.

what is the future of aveo uva in india.co is now taking 3 months for delivery .why it is so.is co not ready for launch
By dr suresh on Mar 13, 2007
uva is a good product, wrong pricing (should be cheaper), and quite importantly, GM cant offer much discount on this product as, they r soon launching spark and they simply dont have the capacity to manufacture all their models as per market demand, IF these cars r priced at par with competition. all these models, if priced correctly (near to competitors prices), need GM india to have atleast 2 times more capacity than their current capacity at halol plant. so, in absence of huge capacity, GM wont be able to mass produce any of these cars, due to which, no big discounts could be offered.
as per what i know, GMs new plant near pune is under construction. lets see what GM does till then, but launching so much of new models in last ~1 year [aveo, uva, srv, spark (planned), optra cng + diesel (planned)] should not have been the priority.

By SSP on Apr 24, 2007
What is preventing GM from aggressive marketing of their Aveo-U-VA ? Seem like the car has a lot going for it in terms of competition.
Or do they want to compete when Chery premium hatchbacks come from China at 75% of the value of Aveo -U-VA?
That is when even Maruti and Hyundai will have to rejig.
By v.p. agarwal on Apr 30, 2007
Hi,
Can someone tell me which is the better car overall between Swift and UVA.
And whats the on-road price of both.
By Pubz on May 4, 2007
I took test drive of U-VA and found it really smooth on maneuvering. It goes great on bad road and somehow i find power steering of it much better than other cars. Power can be a drawback and i think the maitenance cost. Does someone has idea about the general costing of car parts for Chevrolet compared to other popular brands like maruti or hyundai.
i also took test drive of Logan and would rate it poor in terms of ease of manwuvering, no power, very sluggish to drive, seats are not comfrotable quite hard. Moreover its not that cost effective when you see that in second base model it doesnt have power windows, central locking. Overall good in terms of space inside, trunk size but not a car to enjoy driving.

I was about to book the UVA till I got on to this page! Thanks! Many heads are obviously better than one! GM must either reduce the price or, increase the power without raising the existing price. The second option is better. GM & the UVA can then survive. I think a 1.4L engine with 94ps can give the SWIFT a run for its money! Price must then remain what it is. The strange part is that the UVA is 1075kg while the AVEO is 1095kg. Only 20 kg difference! Pwr/Wt ratio is lousy in the UVA. GM are you listening?????

On second thoughts, I also started looking out for some second hand cars.. plz advise wht will the best option, I can increase my budget if you have some nice suggestion, please let me know.
Looking forward for your reply.
By Deepak on Jun 21, 2007
Hi Deepak,
I also had the same experience. Currently I havenot shortlisted any car. However below are some of my findings that might be of help to you.
In terms of maintainance, Hundai, Honda, GM, Ford fall in the same line. They are all expensive(Even some models of tata, strange!). Maruti would get a plus interms of maintaince and cost of spares. Number of service centres are large maruti. GM is poor in this. Ford and Hundai are OK(No of service centres).
My list included swift diesel(VDI), ford-fusion, Logan and UVA.
I had opted for VDI (costing almost 5.8lak onroad B’lore). But I had a bitter experience when I stepped into maruti showroom. They are quoting almost 6months waiting period(aft paying in full during booking). Also they are not providing any testdrives. Diesel engine of swift really rocks, outperforming duratorq of fiesta on many front. Since there is no competition in this segment, maruti people are taking public for ride.
I am hoping, same engine will be under the bonnet of many cars in future. (It is developed(suzuki) in partnership with fiat and opel(GM)) Since tata has tie-up with fiat, even tata cars might use the same engine.
Even UVA might use it. (will be a good package if priced right)
Ford fusion at ~6.5 laks(onroad) is a verygood package. Only its low mileage is a concern(abt 9kmpl in city with AC on).If you can afford that I would recommend fusion instead of esteem. Esteem is old model and is on verge of phase out. Do you really want to put your hard earned money for a old model.
Logan is below expectation. UVA is overpriced with less power. Finally I am nowhere. I have decided to
give some more time (until I see getz-crdi, or maybe fiat punto).
My suggestion,
if you can stretch your budget,
Fusion is a better chioce.
Suzuki-SX4, Verna-i/xi A bit more costly but worth.
Small cars: swift-vxi,Getz-prime.
Harsha
By Harsha on Jun 25, 2007
Hi All,
I took a test drive of U-VA 1.2LS version and also of Getz Prime 1.1L. Following are some of my observations which could help clear the confusion of many folks like me who have a budget of 4.5 to 5.5 lakhs.
U-VA :
1.Loved the exterior looks. Very different than so many models we see on road.(looks are subjective hence would leave it here.)
2.Found the ride very comfortable over bad roads. Gives you good feel about stability and grip on road.
3.Great interior space. Lots of leg room in front as well as rear.
4.Interiors are with light-grey. Could appear to be dull and boring to many. Some better shade would have definitely added to better interiors.
5.Gear shifting is smooth and comfortable, however ergonomics could have been better. Position is a little bit behind….no worry to me.
6.Boot space is 220 lit. Pretty less than what was needed to carry luggage for a family of 4.(Some intelligent engineering would have added more space).
7.Performance especially pickup was a bit slow, but that was expected with 76 ps of power.
Over to Getz Prime.
(Saw 1.3L GLX model in showroom but test ride was of 1.1L)
1.Looks: Exteriors not specially appealing. Liked the interiors.
2.Ride quite comfortable just like U-VA.
3.Smart engineering - Good interior space and comfort again just like U-VA.
4.Saw a New blue color range which was simple great.
5.Gear shifting was a bit more comfortable in terms of ergonomics. Had to shift the lever lesser than U-VA while changing gears.
6.As mentioned Excellent boot space for luggage.
7.Performance here is an important factor since Getz Prime has 1.1L engine with 66ps whereas Getz has 1.3L with 83 ps.U-VA is positioned exactly in between these two adding to the confusion for folks like me !
Overall,
Both are equally good with Getz having more boot and U-VA having better space, ride and looks (for me).
Also U-VA is priced between Getz and Getz Prime variants. (You can correct me if I am wrong on this - that would help).
Ground Clearance is much better in U-VA.
An important factor: Surfing over the net over the last few weeks, I have found that spares and maintainence costs are not higher for GM. Most of it is bad word of mouth going by the many reviews I saw. So go easy on them.
I hope this would help out some of the guys !…..happy buying.

I am also on the look out for a car in the mid segment. I test drove a U Va and Getz this weekend. I share that ride in a U Va has been absolutely comfy with very less noise.Getz is little heavy on the wheels. But big question is about the after sales service of Chevrlot credibilty ? Will it survive/adjust to the small town requirements ? Any views ? Swift is a compact car with less of space in its boot. It is like zip zap zoom type.Confused !! Advise on :
Space in the boot.
Looks, plush but small to cater for car parking space.
Fuel Efficiency.
After sales service and its cost factor.

spare parts cost well gm has reduced the costs.. i saw.. most of the parts price[which r more frequenlty to be changed] r marginally less than hyundai’s..
but anywya if money is not the isuue and u want a more powerfull engine then getz 1.3

I think most of the ppl in this forum are pressing maruti button again & again jst because they are narrow minded & are not willing to change with times. GM is the biggest auto company in the world ( with cars like Camaro, Corvette & Hummer)it has the technology far advanced than Maruti. I test drove UV-A & found it comfier & more spacious than any other small car. It is good looking (longer length & lesser height than Swift or Getz & good ground clearance as well). Found the car very easy to drive (good power steering) & there is very less noise & vibration ( far better than competitors). Buying it in january

Which is better- Aveo-UVA or Swift ?
I am still unable to understand why UVA is not being preferred to Swift. I find UVA better in looks, interors but only doubt is regarding spares and service. Swift, although powerful - but design I did’t like much but all my well wishers telling me to go for Swift. What should I do?

I think with increasing awareness and options as far as cars are concerned, its time ppl in india came to terms with reality…which is you just cant get a car for Rs 4 lacs which gives you 20-25 kmpl has 300bhp and requires no maintainance…i mean hell i own a yamaha fz1 bike and it just gives me 8kmpl.So if you want to buy a car just grab a piece of paper and pencil and jot down your priorities…do the math and go to town with your money…simple as that!!!

Dear Pals,
I am thinking of buying Aveo U-VA but heard that the Fuel milage is bit of concern on city roads with AC on, rising fuel prices and also maintanance cost is important, please advice on actual achievable milage on city roads with AC on

Hi,
If you all are looking for
1. Look and Styling—Swift has different style UVA and finally Getz has got normal design.
2. Cabin Space —Getz & UVA and compromise in case of Swift.
3. Boot Space—– Getz then comes Swift and compromise with UVA.
4. Power—-Swift and UVA and compromise with Getz(1.1).
5. Interior—Swift then comes Getz and finally UVA.
6. Resale Value—-Swift then comes Getz and finally UVA.
7. Services—- Swift then comes Getz and finally UVA
8. Suspensions—-UVA then comes Getz and finally Swift.
9. Airy Cabin —UVA & Getz and compromise with Swift.
10 Fuel Economy—All are almost equal (But 1.3 Getz is fuel thirsty. SWIFT then UVA and Finally GETZ.
Hope this will help you all out to decide your car.(My opinion).
Waiting for comments.

I want to know the safety aspects of all the three cars ? Collision Impact in particular
I saw GM is not compromising on that front. Which, I feel the other two are lacking.

For people who needs good space inside, UV-A is definitely a good option and it will give tough competition to Getz who is the only spacious premium hatchback as of now.
for your poor information the maximum power of hyundai Getz is 67ps.

I Test drove UVA recently and found it much much better than Swift, mainly in terms of large inside space, good seating position and a smooth engine. Interior design is really incredible.
Swift’s specs may suggest it is more powerful but just test drive both the vehicles and you will come to know how smooth UVA engine is.
I can not say anything about Getz as I have to test drive it yet.

Hi folks,
Am planning to buy a car. I read the complete thread. It looks like people are quite poitive about Aveo UVA. Those who were initially not so impressed by the specifications ended up having a better opinion of the car once they test drove it. Plus, its GM.
But the question that bugs me the most is that why is this car not getting popular. I see almost every vehicle on Mumbai streets - from maruti 800 to hummer.. but havent come across a single Aveo UVA. Can someone throw some light on how this model is doing in the market?
I am not very keen on buying a unique car, rather I always trust the market feelers to get opinion of a model. Waiting for your comments.

hello guys, i own a santro xing XO 2007 and now i planned to change my car.
I took a test drive of AVEO U-VA and found that it was the best car in the small segments..
The most important feature of this car is the sturdiness and the bulky body which will give you benefit as part of safety.
I have been driving cars from 10 years right from omino, 800, santro and will be getting the new U-VA next week.
At first, even i had a confusion of GM cars, abut the parts, service and mileage.
1) We should rule out the mileage factor as all the cars, Swift, Getz and U-VA will give approx.. the same mileage.
2) Spares are not that expensive as you think, it comes par with Hyundai. the parts will not wear off so easily, dont forget that GM doesnt make cheap cars. try opening the door and feel how heavy it is. the guage on the metal is very high which makes the body of the car very strong.
3) This car is very useful for people who are tall, i’m 6ft tall and i think this would be the best car which can offer me so much of space. Not that other cars are not good, but its time to change your views..
This car comes with gas filled suspension behind which will make your drive very smooth.
you really dont need too much power in India, 76 BHP is quite a lot for the small segment cars. In fact Getz 1.1 and Santro are 67 and 65 BHP resp.
The basic version of this car comes with power-steering, AC, internall adjustable ORVM, most of it you would get in the middle variant of other sellers except for the power windows.
If any doubts of this car email me at sumanthsurs@gmail.com.
If you are in bangalore, try the New Vijai motors in Bannerghatta road or Whitefield road who are genuinly good and also because they have recently opened and you will get good customer service….

I purchased a UVA mid February and have no problems so far. Spacious and smooth rides. Like some posts say, get out of the maruti lines.

Iam using Aveo-UVA , for the last two months . It’s really a nice car and specious too. It’s very good for long distance driving. After all it is a premium hatchback one for lovers of this kind

I am also planning to buy aveo uva 1.2. In my city the dealer is giving the base model for 4lacs including cost+ins+reg fees and even 3 years unconditinoal warranty.
I have a concern about mileage. Can you please guide me approx how is the milege of aveo uva. I have heard it to be around 12-13. but some people say that they get 15.how can there be so much difference in mileage.
If someone is using aveo uva..please share ur petrol mileage..
