Hyundai i10 tested by CarWale

With long-held breath the country waited for the much-hyped compact car from Hyundai - the i10. Shakrukh Khan set the idiot box and the radio waves afire with his visual and vocal presence which, frankly, worked very well for this latest small-car. Being the sexy little number that she is, the i10 was on every lip in the nation. India now being the small-car hub for Hyundai, will be exporting i10s globally. So how exactly this car do when we thrashed it on Indian roads for over a thousand kilometers? The answer lies here.

Hyundai - 10 Nice looks! Bad in Comfort
PROS: Good interior, Good Mileage
CONS:Poor seats…not at all comfortable
I and my brother have been driving Santro for over 7 years. Recently we felt the need to increase our car staple from 3 to 4 cars ( 2 santros). We were looking for a high end compact version. After taking test drives of all the competitors and evaluating different reviews, we decided to have the latest i-10. Finally, we bought the i-10 ERA today (2nd Jan 2008) from HMP ( Mathura Road)
It might be pre-mature, but both me & my brother faced real back ache problem just after driving 5-7 kms. Is there anybody who experienced similar problem? If yes, any solution to this?
Appreciate your reply~
