Sales figures: June 2008
July 11, 2008 – 11:20 am by Charles PennefatherAccording to figures released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers, domestic passenger car sales rose by 6.1%, registering a total of 99,738 units, as opposed to 94,002 units that were clocked in June 2007. This is despite the increase in fuel prices, the car’s prices themselves, and finance rates.

And all that even after high inflation. Thats good news for auto industry.
