Mitsubishi launches ‘09 Montero, new dealership in Mumbai
March 25, 2009 – 4:03 pm by Charles PennefatherMitsubishi Motors has launched the ‘09 edition of their premium SUV, the Montero, at a ceremony in South Mumbai, where they also launched their newest dealership, Autodrome.
The new-for-2009 Montero sports a 3.2-litre common-rail engine that develops 164bhp, and comes fully loaded with all the electronics that made it such a success in rallying. It is nice to see an SUV’s brochure state breakover angle and wading depth along with features such as an 850W Rockford-Fosgate audio system.
The Autodrome, situated in Atria Mall, Worli, Mumbai, is a company-owned showroom that will display Mitsubishi’s premium products but will sell all of their brands, right down to the Lancer. The Montero is available for Rs 41.94 lakh, ex-showroom, all over the country.
