Hyundai announces price hike up to 3%

Hyundai Motor India Limited announced an increase in the prices of Santro, i10 and Accent across all their variants. The price hike ranges from 1.2% to 3% and is due to increase of input costs.The retail prices across these models have gone up ranging from Rs 3,601 - 14,636. After the price hike the Santro will be costlier by Rs 3,601 - 5,163, the i10 will be dearer by Rs 3,974 - 7,637 and the prices of Accent have gone up by Rs. 14,636. Rest of the model range comprising of the recently launched hatch i20 and the Sonata remains unchanged as they are still under introductory pricing. The Verna launched this week sports a revised price tag.
Last December HMIL had reduced the prices after the government’s announcement of a 4% reduction in Cenvat. The new prices are applicable with immediate effect.

The price hike announcement is any way not a fair deal to customers,from a company like u.Now the whole world is fear about global meltdown, and the time is not appropriate for price hikes.So We Hope a GOOD NEWS from U very soon…!!!
