Honda September 2009 Sales Figures

Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI) sold 5,794 units and registered a 86.7% increase in sales in the month of September ‘09 as against 3,104 units sold during the corresponding month last year.
The cumulative sales of the company during the fiscal year period April – September’ 09 was 27,521 units as against 23,461 units sold during the same period last year marking an increase of 17.3% in sales.
In line with the focus to offer a fresh line-up of models during festival season offering new value to its customers, Honda launched the new Honda Civic and the new Honda City in September ‘09. Model wise sales break-up: City: 4281 units; Jazz: 504 units; Civic: 695 units; CR-V: 1 unit; Accord: 313 units.
