Hyundai launches unique warranty schemes
May 27, 2008 – 6:09 pm by Ashish Jha
Hyundai Motor India Limited has launched extended warranty schemes for its customers. The Power Train and Comprehensive Extended warranty schemes are available for all owners of the Hyundai i10, Santro, Getz Prime (petrol), Accent and Verna for a period of five years.
The Comprehensive Extended Warranty scheme is a full protection scheme which covers the entire car from the mechanical and electrical bits to all other parts including the engine and transmission, for a period of five years or 100,000km whichever is earlier.
Additionally, for all those customers who do not want a comprehensive warranty covering the entire car there is a partial extended warranty (The Power Train Warranty) for the entire powertrain which will cover the engine and transmission parts at a minimal cost for a similar period of five years or 100,000km, whichever occurs earlier.

intend to buy Santro GLS AT model. But when I enquired about it with the delaer in Delhi they informed me that Hyundai has stopped manufacturing Auto Transmission version in Santro.
Is it true? Can anybody guide me on this?
Thanks in advance.

To the best of our knowledge the Santro AT still is being produced. Do let us know what happens.
