‘Ask a Question’ is back as ‘Carwale Answers’

Carwale.com’s one of the most popular services, ‘Ask a Question’ was closed down a couple of months ago. There were some technical issues that forced this service to get withdrawn. Today, Carwale.com has launched yet another useful service, ‘Carwale Answers‘ which is quite similar to ‘Ask a Question’. Earlier, we had plans to launch this service as ‘Open House’ but Carwale Answers seemed more appropriate.

For a few weeks, carwale.com was running a few banners saying ‘Do you know a lot about cars? Check-out Open House’. Through those advertisements, we were accepting registrations to answer questions in Carwale Answers. As per our expectations, more than fifty people with good expertise in automotive field registered for answering people. Initial response for the service is good enough. Till the time of writing this post (less than six hours of its launch), 6 questions and 21 answers have been posted.

For those who are interested in knowing what exactly Carwale Answers is, here are some key points:

  • Ask your own question
  • Answer other people’s questions
  • Read previously asked Question-Answers

For those who want to know ‘how is it different from Ask a Question’?

  • More than fifty experts to answer queries
  • You cannot discuss things. One person can participate only once in one Question-Answer

We always wanted that people use Forum to discuss things, but essentially most of the people prefer question-answer phenomenon, hence Carwale Answers.
