Bangalore-based The Smart Techie magazine has recognized CarWale as one of the top 10 Internet companies in India for 2009. Among other winners are Anil Ambani’s BigAdda.com, Sabeer Bhatia’s Arzoo.com and Satya Prabhakar’s Sulekha.com.
Smart Techie says about CarWale, “Mumbai-based CarWale.com is creating a platform for users to drive home a car which is the best fit for their need, and gets them a transparent, haggle-free deal. It was a long, trying task for CarWale CEO Mohit Dubey and co-founders to build up a comprehensive automotive website to fulfill the needs of car consumers and to bring them more options in terms of choosing a car of their choice.”
