Auto Expo 2008 Starts Tomorrow

The auto-show will run from this Thursday (10th January, 2008) to next Thursday (17th January, 2008) at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The first day of auto-show i.e. 10th January is ‘Media day’. General visitors will be able to visit the show 11th January onwards.
Spread over 70,000 square meters, Auto Expo is India’s biggest auto show. The organizers of the show are Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). First held in 1986, Auto Expo is a biennial event (the second and the third were exceptionally held in 1993 and 1996 respectively).
Over 1200 participants have registered for the event. The participants include all major manufacturers of cars, utility vehicles, commercial vehicles, buses, trucks, two-wheelers and three-wheelers. Various auto components, accessories and garage equipments manufacturers are also participating.

I have not found anything regarding Auto expo 2008 started yesterday i.e. 09.01.2008. Like to know about small car luanched today by Tata Motors. It should be avilable on this website.
However I find it is a very good and informative site to know about cars.

well, a very good and commendable attempt to bring the industry in focus. single point where anybody can have view of different cars of different makes and can get relevant information also. this show or event particularly remained a very different, significant and outstanding in terms of presenting new car models and infact new concepts altogether… hope such events would help people understand the core interesting factor or passion of cars.
One line Feedback : such event organisors should think of involving not only auto manufacturers but also service providers and should act or add some concept to grow general awareness of safe driving and pollution prevention in line to honor social responsibilities.
