Tata Motors sales figures grew by 1.5% this February as 19,039 units of its passenger cars were sold in the domestic market. Tata Motors exports reduced by 68% compared to last February.

Tata Motors’ January sales fell by 9% in January 2009. The Pimpri-based manufacturer sold 18,331 units of passenger vehicles in the first month of 2009, which were the highest this fiscal since May 2008, 86% up over December 2008.

Tata Motors reported sales of 49,647 vehicles (including exports) for September 2008, an increase of 3% compared to 48,347 vehicles sold in September last year. Cumulative sales for the company at 265,685 units shows a growth of 1%.
