Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. (TKM) has announced that it has crossed 4 lakh unit retails sales in India since its inception. The company also announced a 50 per cent jump in total sales at 5,650 units in October 2009, compared to the same period last year.

General Motors India is planning to introduce its Cadillac range to the Indian auto market. The Detroit-based company had initially planned to launch its Hummer SUV in India. GM will introduce the Cadillac CTS to compete with German luxury brands Mercedes-Benz, Audi and BMW.
