Honda Siel Cars India Ltd announced a reduction in the prices of its models - Accord and CR-V by Rs 5,000. Ford India is the other manufacturer to offer discount on its SUV, the Endeavour.

Honda Siel India, registered a growth of 32% over the previous month by selling 7,368 units in March 2009 as against 5,579 units sold in February 2009. The growth in sales is fuelled by Honda City.

Honda Siel Cars India is offering discounts ranging between Rs 19,000 to Rs 31,000 on all its models except for the CR-V which is a CBU. The reduction came into effect when the central government revised the Central Value Added Tax (CENVAT).
