January 2012:
IAMAI, Founded in January 2004 by leading portals in India, IAMAI is the only specialized industry body in India representing the interests of online and mobile value added services industry.
CarWale was named Best Auto Content Website by the IAMAI in their 2nd India Digital Awards.

March 2009:
The Smart Techie, a leading technology magazine has recognized CarWale as one of the top 10 Internet companies in India for 2009.
Bangalore-based 'The Smart Techie' says about CarWale, "CarWale. is facilitating an online platform for users to drive home a car which is the best fit for their need."

June 2008:
PC World has deemed CarWale the best site for automobiles, overall. CarWale was the jury’s favorite by a clear margin.
PC World had this to say about CarWale:
"Apart from used car availability, there is a ton of content including user reviews,
information on discontinued models, on-road prices of almost every car model available in India,
etc. Useful tools on the site include used car evaluation tool… The design and user interface is clean
and pretty intuitive."

November 2007:
BusinessWeek USA has recognized Arun Kumar Sahlam - “the brain” of CarWale - as one of the top 25
entrepreneurs in the Asian continent. His endeavors have seen CarWale develop into a dynamic internet portal
which caters to a huge number of users towards anything automotive. And it is this effort of his that has been
acknowledged by BusinessWeek, one of the world’s leading business magazines.

Red Herring Asia 100 is an exclusive event honoring 100 cutting-edge private technology companies from across
the Asia-Pacific region. The event brings together an elite roster of entrepreneurial and global venture
investment firms to showcase excellence in innovation. CarWale was included in the list by Red Herring in 2007.
