Research Daewoo Cars in India

The Korean brand Daewoo came India in mid-90s with Cielo. Cielo looked good, gave luxurious feeling and became a hit in just a few years. Overwhelmed with Cielo's success, Daewoo India launched Nexia and Matiz. Nexia was a nice car but couldn't sell in good numbers, on the other hand Matiz did very well. Matiz rewrote Cielo's success and became India's favourite small-car, but the downfall of Daewoo Korea put all existing Daewoo owners in trouble. Today, spares-availability is a major issue with Cielo and Matiz.
