I Bought a 1.4 Zxi Duratorq (Diesel) 3 weeks back
and must admit that the reviews that I saw on this web site were pretty accurate.
I Get a very good mileage of 19 Kms on the High way but in the city it gives me around 12. I have already run 2000Km in it and find the car very comfortable.
Very smooth engine , very powerful too. excellent pickup and very good road handling.
The Interiors are well made and pretty comfortable. Ground clearance is not a problem on most speed breakers, but the odd one would hit any vehicle. So no complaints regarding that.
The Gear shift is crisp and could have been a little smoother.
It would have been good if the car came with alloy wheels for the price.
Its been fun driving the car, and so far no regrets , I guess 3 weeks is a very short time to talk about service cost and maintainence , but then I will definately add my comments when I do feel I need to tell more.

    The report is true though the language is extreme but the ford guys are not the best people to buy a car from ,they harass you after you buy the car in terms of very very very very poor after sales service and absurdly priced spares.they donot have a good image in the public because of this

    Spares have not been a problem so far, Its been 10 months now.
    So maybe once I really start facing such a problem , i will definately be updating the comments section

    ajay as u r a new user of this car, i would suggest u if you dont want any problem in ur car just dont drive above 90kmph speed. dont let the RPM needle go above 2000rpm. just think u bought a scooter at a price tag of 8lacs. if you drive it as a luxury car & want to reach somewhere really fast then be ready to meet there heavy bills! also make sure that u take there extended warranty elso u'll be screwed by ford high price spares. this car gives problem from about 30000kms mileage!
