Pros : Great power and pickup. Excellent cabin - minimal outside noice
Cons : Fuel economy not yet as good as advertized. Steering and gear shift are tight.

I bouth the LT version - very comfortable car with leather seats, good 360 degree visibility and excellent pickup. Great safety - ABS ,airbags all wheel disc brakes.
Engine is very smooth and hardly feels like a diesel. Very easy and pleasurable to drive (always the first to take off from the red signal).
Very good suspension - independent front AND rear suspension.

Very good buy - excellent value for money - go for it!

    unreal power, I have a Corolla and an Octavia, the Optra is simply a class apart in terms of the engine. The interiors of the LT are great and you have to pay 3.5 laks more to get the same in any other car of its class...

    i own a magnum LT.great power,excellent leg room,decent interors,above averge ac and mp3 set are its good virtues.cons are: not so pleasing gear shifts,poor steering response especially at high speeds,pretty ordinary high speed handling characters and not so fuel efficient as one expects or as gm or dealer claim.expect anything around 12 to 14 on an average with ac on(both highway and city drive taken together).overall i personally rate it 7.5/10.good VFM but i expected a little more.

    How mcuh average you get on magnum and Corolla.
    I am confusedbetween the two?
