Inspired by other reviews and a few critisms thereon, I have (further to this review ' A lovely car') posted a elaborated/detailed review "A lovely lovely Car" on 26/09/2007. Please go through it. Thanks.
fix a rear spoiler and roof rails... it will change your car's appearence from indica to a nice sporty looking city car.. my review (SUB : HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)has got the ''detailed'' avg's !!
People say that after 3 years the vechicle is useless and maintainance expenses rise.
This is specilly with the case of Diesel vehicles so such cars are good only for Businessmen who can afford to change the cars after 3 years and whats more all expenses incurred gets debited to their Business Account. But it is different for Middle income and retired people who have to shell out their hard earned money.
Diesel cars are these days quite refined & virtually as good as petrol ones. Maintenance too is not at all high as it used to be earlier. Diesel engines are more sturdy, stronger & have better longevity. They are more fuel efficient & economical. Therefore, diesel cars, Indica in particular (preferably Turbo), is recommended for service/middle class people (like me) who are concious of their hard-earned money & want the returns of every money spent. After disposing my ZEN LX of 2000 year, I just bought one Tata Indica DLS of 2005 Dec with 29,000 KM done so far. In kolkata roads with AC I am getting maxm average of 10 Km per litre.Kindly advise the possible check points to get minm 15 Km per litre ?
Well, that mileage is unusually low - get it checked thoroughly from an authorised dealer/workshop.
