Pros : awesome car for the mid sized cars.......to good to say the truth......very fuel efficient
Cons : steering wheel not adjustable problem,no folding of rear seats

over all a very gud car for a man nd a pleasure to drive..........very
stylish nd an excellent car.........thanx to maruti for such an awesome
car...                
very good.. but i had wished if the steering wheel had the adjustable
thing nd also the size      of the tyre would  be a
little larger...well this is gud ........nd also the beige
interiors.the interiors are gud but if it would be beige it would be
better..i wish the next model of esteem releasing in 2008 is a lot
better.............

    Well, buddy, you can forget about a 2008 version. The company has, strangely, announced discontination of the model !

    I have the 2007 VXI version of the esteem and get a very moderate 9 kmpl. Please advise about the fuel efficiency you get.

    He buddy from Chennai, you must be driving your car in a very high trafic wih full AC on to get that milage.

    My car's (MPFI VX 2000 model) engine is done by my local mechanic and still given me 12.75 w/o AC on highway. With Ac it gives around 10.

    Is it wortk to buy a Maruti Esteem Vxi Model September 2005 vehicle in 3.10 lacs from Maruti true value Kms done 29000. I have a doubt of reselling this after 2 years car as this model is discontinued by maruti.
